KS · KS D3540
Family of fine-grain, killed carbon steel plates used to fabricate pressure vessels, boilers, separators and petrochemical equipment operating at moderate temperature (generally -30°C to roughly 400-500°C depending on grade). It's the most common plate family in industrial boilermaking, offering an excellent strength/weldability balance.

Note: Correction: the initially suggested designation (KS D3560) is incorrect for this family — KS D3560 is actually the Korean standard "carbon steel and molybdenum alloy steel plates for boilers and pressure vessels" (grades SB410/SB450/SB480), equivalent to JIS G3103 (SB series), not JIS G3118 (SGV series). The Korean standard actually equivalent to JIS G3118/SGV480 is KS D3540 ("carbon steel plates for intermediate and moderate temperature pressure vessels"), which directly reuses the Japanese SGV410/450/480 nomenclature with nearly identical composition.
