CEN/EN · EN 10028-2
Family of fine-grain, killed carbon steel plates used to fabricate pressure vessels, boilers, separators and petrochemical equipment operating at moderate temperature (generally -30°C to roughly 400-500°C depending on grade). It's the most common plate family in industrial boilermaking, offering an excellent strength/weldability balance.

Note: P265GH is the intermediate-strength EN grade, often matched with ASTM A516 Gr.60 (or even A285 Gr.C in some sources) rather than the stronger Gr.70 — it's included here as the lower-strength variant of the European EN 10028-2 family, complementing P355GH. The minimum yield strength (265 MPa) only applies to thicknesses ≤16 mm and decreases progressively to 185 MPa for thicknesses 150-250 mm.
