CEN · EN 10216-2:2013
Family of chrome-molybdenum alloy steel pipes (roughly 1 to 2.25% Cr, 0.45 to 1.1% Mo) intended for high-temperature circuits (superheated steam, refinery reactors and lines, hydrocracking units), typically between 450°C and 600°C depending on Cr-Mo content. US reference: ASTM A335 P11 (1.25Cr-0.5Mo) and P22 (2.25Cr-1Mo), with equivalents in Europe (EN 10216-2), Japan (JIS G3458) and South Korea (KS D3573).

Note: Equivalent in Cr-Mo composition to P22 (ASTM) and STPA24/SPA24 (JIS/KS), usable up to roughly 530-600°C depending on the source. As with 13CrMo4-5, the minimum yield strength guaranteed by the EN standard is markedly higher than P22's (280 MPa vs. 205 MPa), owing to different standard bases.
